The structural forms of Califronia’s missions and other adobe structures have to be the cornerstone for a California regional style. Often seen as simple or crude, upon inspection we kind find many refined details.
The architecture of Mexico from the 18th and early 19th century can give us great insight into what the possibilities for early Califronia architecture were.
